HARRINGTON, Christine A. (Locke), of Quincy and Chatham, January 25, 2019. Beloved wife of Paul J. Harrington. Loving mother of Ethan P. Harrington, Caroline L.H. Hulme and her husband Nathaniel, and Meredith A. Harrington and her fiancé Brendan Yaworsky, all of Boston. Devoted grandmother of Adelaide Hulme. Cherished daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Locke. Dear sister of Mary Mohan of Osterville, Vincent Locke of Hingham, Charles Locke of North Reading, Marjorie Noonan of Falmouth and Jeannie Foley of Glenmont, NY.
Christine recently retired from a career as a psychotherapist (LICSW), in which she devoted herself to helping others overcome anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. She earned a reputation as one of the best child mental health providers in the South Shore area, helping countless families through difficulty. Christine was a graduate of Fontbonne Academy in Milton, MA, University of Massachusetts in Boston, the Graduate School of Social Work at Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA. Through her work and personal relationships, Christine's empathy and compassion left a lasting impact on the lives she touched.
Visiting hours in the John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd.) DORCHESTER, Wednesday 4 to 8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Brendan Church Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In Lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in memory of Christine to NTM Info and Research @ntminfo.org. Interment private.
