DUCHANEY, James W. of Center Barnstead, NH and Neponset, October 29, 2018.  Beloved husband of the late Carol E. (Noonan) Duchaney.  Loving father of Denise Megnia of Center Barnstead, NH, Dale Feeney and her husband Kevin of Dorchester, James Jr.  and his wife Susan of South Weymouth,  Thomas of Charlestown, Christopher of Dorchester and the late Gerard Duchaney.  Cherished grandfather of Jill, Katie, Kevin, Kara, Juliana, James III, Mark and the late Steven and Matthew.  Great grandfather of Lila, Haddie and Holly.  Devoted brother of Emilie Duchaney of RI and the late Robert, Paul and Arthur Duchaney, Alice Connors and Richard Duchaney.  Also survived by his loyal pet, Jake.

Jimmy was involved in many organizations throughout his life in Neponset and also Barnstead, NH. He was an avid sports fan and coached many teams including Neponset Falcons Football, Dorchester Babe Ruth Dukes, Riley’s Raiders Bowling League, and the Glee Club. In his later years during retirement, Jimmy was very involved with his many new friends in Barnstead. He started a new bowling league and was also very involved with his community and was a friend to all those he met. In his personal life his family was always his priority and it was always his passion to stay close with all of them. His favorite sports teams were the New York Yankees and the Michigan Wolverines. Jim was also a friend of Bill.

 Visiting hours in the John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd.) DORCHESTER, Monday 4 to 8pm.  Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church NEPONSET, Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.  In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN  38105-3678.  Late member of Local #589.  Veteran Korean War U.S.A.F.  Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
