Coleman F. (Coley) Wallace, age 96, retired Lt. BFD, Engine 22, of Milton, formerly of South Boston. Son of the late Coleman J. Wallace and Barbara Flaherty Wallace. Pre-deceased by his siblings, Mary, John and Margaret. Loving companion of 45 years to Carol A. Jameson
of Milton.
His quiet life was uprooted by Carol’s zest for travel. Yin and Yang traveled the world from Boston to Australia, Fiji, Japan and Jerusalem, forming lasting friendships
during their travels.
The consummate fireman, Coley’s first action when checking in to hotels around the world, was to pace off the steps from his hotel room to the fire exits.
“Uncle Coley” was cherished by his extended family, especially his many nieces and nephews, with whom he shared a deep relationship. He was such a positive
influence on each of their lives.
Always with a smile and never a negative word, the proud WWII Navy veteran, who enjoyed a good single malt scotch, will be remembered as a kind, gentle man, loved by all who knew him.
