Gerard Wyse of South Easton, formerly of Dorchester and Milton, passed away on September 2, 2021. Beloved life partner of Susan O’Sullivan. Loving father of Alexandria and Jackson. Dear brother of Richard F. Wyse of Dorchester, Elaine M. Dyksinski of Middleboro, James G. Wyse of Boston, Maureen H. Kelley and her husband William of Lynn, and the late Robert E. and Donald J. Wyse. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Loving father-in-law to Manuel Rosa and Cherished grandfather to Mason and Carter. Loving son of the late Richard and Helen (Dempster) Wyse. Former spouse of Sandra Wyse. Also survived by Susan’s two daughters that he loved like his own, Meaghan and Katelyn. Gerry worked at Kit Clark/Bay Cove for 35 years and was also President of Union 1709. Gerry had a love for Boston sports, music and the beach. He never missed a chance to take a walk or spend time with his grandsons. Gerry had the best outlook on life and never missed the chance to tell his loved ones how much he loved them.
Visiting hours in the John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd.) DORCHESTER, Tuesday from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Mark’s Church Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Due to the ongoing health crisis, facemasks will be required. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Gerry. Interment in Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
