So sorry to hear. Worked with Mr. Flannagan at Fenway and saw him all around Neponset. Just a good person. Prayers for your family.

Rest in peace Joe, you'll be missed especially at the family functions. You were a great role model for your children and grandchildren.

Seeing Mr. Flanagan's obituary brought back so many wonderful memories of those days playing in the Cedar Grove Little League with Mr. joe Flanagan coaching one of the teams. I remember playing with his sons and how great it was for him to be coaching. he was one of those parents that you looked up to and had the utmost respect for. My wife and daughter asked me why or how I remembered him after all these years. My response was. "It was easy. There are only a handful of people in your life who you come across...who you respect and admire....and remember. Joe was one of them"
I offer my condolences to the family and I know that he will never be forgotten.

They don’t make them like Joe Flanagan anymore. He was such a solid, committed family man and like a second father to me. I will never forget his great sense of humor, welcoming personality and incredibly corny jokes ( that’s no yoke!) My sympathies go out to the whole Flanagan family...... Joe will never be forgotten and will always be appreciated. May he Rest In Peace now .......
