Obituary

WILSON, Margaret A. “Maggie” of Weymouth, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62 on Decmeber 2, 2021. Beloved wife of John “Jack” Fay of Weymouth. Devoted mother of Kelsey Batherwich and her partner Jonathan Dickey of Taunton, and lovely Nana of Logan. Cherished daughter of the late Bridget (Wilson) Lynch and David Wilson. Loving sister of Arthur Wilson and Bridget “Breda” Murphy of Weymouth, Daniel and Constance Wilson of Braintree, and the later Eileen Desmond of Weymouth. Loved by Ronald, Heather, and Ronald Batherwich III, and Arianna Blanchard. Also lovingly survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Maggie worked for several years at Step One and was formerly employed at UMass Boston. Her pride and joy of her life was her grandson Logan. Anyone who knew her knew that he was the center of her life. When people saw them together they saw that he was a star that put a twinkle in her eyes. She loved to travel and made many trips to Bermuda with family members. Her most recent venture was her trip to Aruba in November of 2020. Her love of the warm sun and fresh air always brought a smile to her face. She also had a deep devotion to her animals and cared so deeply for her dogs. She adopted one from China and he brings so much joy to her.
