Dear Grace family,
I’m so sorry to hear of Mr. Grace’s passing. He made us laugh every time he came into Kenney Cleaners. Always stayed awhile to tell some jokes, share stories of his family. It showed how proud he was of his family, proud of his son’s musical talents, proud of his daughter naming her firstborn daughter, Grace and proud to be a part of the Drum & Bugle Corps.
Thank you for always bringing us joy and laughter.

I haven't seen Michael for quite some time; but whenever we occasionally met he was the the same as always: gracious, funny and warm. From St. Brendan's band to the Reveries, Lancers and Crusaders, he played and marched - in that great activity that brought so much joy to our youth. And he married the girl next door. Michael was one of the nicest men I ever knew. I'm very sorry, Joanie.

We are so saddened by Mike's passing. We have wonderful memories from so long ago, although they seem like yesterday. Mike was always fun to be around from our high school and college days. Our ride home was a hoot, especially when Mike would burst into song when "Summer in the City" would come on.the radio. We think of Mike to this day when we hear it. We also fondly remember his kidding us about the best part of Dorchester to live in . Later meeting him downtown Boston I told him we got married and lived in St. Brendan's now after a cheerful hello and with his warm smile he replied congratulations but you are "not up the hill " we did however always agree, we married well did alright for a couple of Dorchester guys. I am sure he will be missed. To your family please accept our Deepest Sympathies ..................... Ann and Bob Nelson Hanover Ma......... OFD

Dear Joan and family,
We are so sad to know that we will not see Mike's wonderful smile again, but we will carry the memory of that smile forever. Whenever we think of Mike, we are the ones who will smile remembering so many good times with the Reveries, 27th Lancers, Light Brigade and Crusaders Senior Corps through the years . We hope you will take comfort in the fact that his life touched so many others in a positive way and he was greatly loved. We will miss him.

Our sincere condolences to the Grace family. Mike was my Executive Officer in the 726 FC and one the finest Officers for whom I served. A scholar, family man, and truly a loyal friend. We both grew up in different parts of Dorchester and would reminisce about the good old days.
I will remember his calm demeanor always when I look at the Family Crest given to me when I retired from the Guard.
May his Memory be Eternal.
