Obituary

JOYCE, Paul T. of Dorchester passed away on January 14, 2022 after a short illness at the age of 81. Born in Portland, Maine, Paul was the son of the late Paul T. & Sophie (Johnson) Joyce. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Joyce and niece Monica Joyce of Germany. Paul is survived by his daughters Shannon and Michelle of Marshfield; sons Paul of Rhode Island and Justin of Boston; nephew Robert Joyce of California, Godson David Skillin of Milton; many cousins; dear friends Bobby Devine, and Bobbie and Mike Skillin of Dorchester. Paul was a local landscape artist, former operations manager for Macy’s Department Stores, and former manager for Star Market. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force who served as an air traffic controller. Due to the impending winter storm, the Funeral Mass will not take place as scheduled. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, St. Valerius section on June 25, 2022 at 10am in Portland, ME.
