LAWLOR, Thomas F. of Dorchester, formerly of Hyannis Port, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine H. (Robillard) Lawlor. Loving father of Thomas F. Lawlor Jr., Diane M. Giardina, Therese C. Fitzgerald, and Patrick Lawlor. Cherished grandfather of Thomas, Christine, Marie, Anthony, Declan, Audra, Michael, Isabella, and the late Brian. Devoted great grandfather of Cullin, Cole, and Sadie. Dear brother of the late Crosbie Lawlor, John Emmett, Joseph Lawlor, and Helen Lawlor. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Thomas was a proud disabled veteran of the United States Army and served bravely in the Korean War. He was a longtime union carpenter and member of Local #40.
Visitation in the John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd.) DORCHESTER, Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30am followed by a private Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, NEPONSET, at 10 o’clock. Due to the ongoing health crisis, facemasks and proper social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Thomas may be made to the Disabled American Veterans at DAV.ORG. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
